This Privacy Policy applies to VerbaCut for iPhone and Mac, provided by the developer identified on its App Store product page (“VerbaCut,” “we,” or “us”).
In short: VerbaCut processes your videos, audio, and transcripts on your device. We do not receive your media or operate a cloud transcription service.
1. Information processed by the app
When you choose a video, VerbaCut accesses that media to extract audio, create a transcript, edit the matching timeline, and export the result. These operations are performed on your device. The selected media and generated transcript are not uploaded to us.
2. Information stored on your device
VerbaCut may store project information, transcripts, temporary processing files, preferences, and exported media on your device. Temporary files are removed when they are no longer needed, subject to normal operating-system behavior.
3. Free export and iCloud key-value storage
VerbaCut stores a small entitlement marker in the Apple Keychain to remember whether the complimentary export has been used. If iCloud key-value storage is available and enabled for your Apple Account, Apple may synchronize a corresponding entitlement value between your devices. We do not receive this value.
4. Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are provided and processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. VerbaCut reads purchase status from Apple to unlock features. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
5. Information we collect
The current version of VerbaCut does not require an account and does not include developer-operated analytics, advertising, cloud storage, crash reporting, or cloud transcription. We do not collect personal data from the app.
6. Website delivery
This website does not use analytics, advertising cookies, or contact forms. Its hosting and network providers may process limited technical request information, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and security events, as necessary to deliver and protect the website.
7. Data retention and deletion
You control your project and media data. Delete projects and exports from within the app, Finder, Photos, or Files as applicable. Uninstalling the app removes data in its app container, while exported files, Apple purchase records, Keychain items, or values synchronized by iCloud may remain according to your device settings and Apple’s policies.
8. Children
VerbaCut is not designed to collect personal information from children, and we do not knowingly collect such information through the app.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when VerbaCut’s features or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy here and update the date above.
